Julia C. Walker

Julia C. Walker joined Guin Martin & Mundorf in 2011. She practices in the areas of education law, labor and employment law, litigation, and insurance defense. Before joining the firm, Ms. Walker practiced with a Kansas City civil litigation firm where she gained experience in complex litigation, focusing primarily on defense of Fortune 500 companies in products liability lawsuits.

Ms. Walker earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she also earned her law degree. In law school, Ms. Walker was among the Top Ten Oralists in her class, and served as Lead Articles Editor on the Missouri Law Review. She was also elected to the Order of the Coif. After law school, Ms. Walker served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Rhodes Russell on the Missouri Court of Appeals. Before returning to Kansas City, Ms. Walker spent three years practicing commercial litigation at a top St. Louis defense firm.
